I’ve recently rediscovered the embedded video on the school system. It shows one of the first presentations I did to parents when I first arrived in Thailand over three years ago.
Good grief it’s embarrassing! I sound like a rabid English nationalist and the delivery is brash and shouty.
I’ve always enjoyed public speaking - even crediting myself with being rather good at it. So watching this is sobering.
I hope I’ve learnt to be a bit quieter, a bit more humble and a bit more reflective over the past few years. Most Thais are the antithesis of brash - the poor audience must have been cringing!
