Busy is not your job...

I am fortunate that I’ve always worked in schools where presenteeism isn’t an issue. You do your job and you go. There has always been an unspoken understanding that:

This is not to say that staff haven’t expected to work hard, and for long hours when needs must, but they are treated as adults. When they’re done, they’re done. Jonty Driver expresses the situation far better than I ever could:
